Still helping
AJ decided he was going to paint. Don't ask me where he learned to paint b/c he has never seen us paint before. He just picked up the roller and went to the wall. Same with the paintbrush. We're thinking he learned it from the cartoon "Handy Manny".
And because he is fascinated with Taro's tools, we got some of his own. Complete with safety goggles. I was corrected numerous times for calling this a sander. Apparently it's an angle grinder. Mustn't get those confused!

Remodeling Project
The Before...
Toddlers and remodeling don't mix! What a chore it has been keeping AJ away from all the action while Taro removes the old fireplace, the old tile and climbs up and down the attic a million times to re-wire the surround sound and satelite. Phew!! It's only been one weekend and we still have to tile, grout, paint and hang the tv up.
Stay tuned for the after shot.... Might be awhile since our fireplace mantel was damaged when it was shipped to us. But they are sending a replacement! Wish us luck.

Trikey
We got AJ a new trikey. He started trying to ride this tiny wooden planter box shaped like a bicycle (see it on the deck). So we figured it was time we got him a real bike. He hasn't figured out how to pedal yet, but we can push him around until he does. He says "RIDE" and points to his bike.
