Six Months Already!

Happy 1/2 birthday AJ. ha ha. Can you believe he is six months old already??

He had his check up this morning. Everything looks good. He is tipping the scales at 18 lbs 6.4 oz. I thought he might have hit 20 lbs b/c he is so heavy. He is also 27 1/2 inches long.

We started feeding him rice cereal this week. I think he likes it. He's still figuring it out though. Here's an interesting thing I learned at the doctor's today.... She said not to give him fruit juice until he is 4 to 6 years old. Wow. I had never heard this before. She said juice is just empty calories, too much sugar. Interesting. Anyone else wait that long?

Anyway, he had a fairly good afternoon even after getting three more shots. Here's some pics.

New Things

It's been awhile since I have posted. Here a few new things that little AJ is doing these days.

* Just starting to roll from front to back and back to front.
* Still hates Tummy Time though.
* Screaming (and I mean screaming) with delight and when he's unhappy too.
* Getting soooooo big!
* Loves his rattles and stuffed animals, especially Curious George the Monkey (pictured here).
* Teething (we think) since he gets pretty fussy in the late afternoon evening and chomps on his teething rings and our fingers.
* Playing with his feet.
*Sitting up (with help of course).
* Just being adorable as usual.

Grandparents

Taro's parents are here visiting this week. This is only the second time they've seen the baby. Grandma was really making him smile this morning. We had to show off the cute newsboy cap too.

They grow up so fast!

ok, I suspected that this kid grew overnight but now I have proof. He grew right out of his pajamas last night. Yah, just like the incredible hulk. They were a little tight when I put them on last night. In fact, I figured he wouldn't be able to wear them again. Boy was I right.
