Success????!!!!

We may have had a breakthrough with AJ and his crib. He slept in it at night twice this week. Once for about three hours and last night for almost five hours. Hurray. I'm also trying to get him to "put himself" to sleep at naptime. Once we master naptime we will try for nighttime. Here's a pic of him after he fell asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon.

Night out on the town

Well... it was more like dinner out on the town. It was sooo good. We ate at Texas Roadhouse for my birthday. It was very loud and I was surprised that the baby slept almost the entire time. Awesome! We were so stuffed from eating ribs that we didn't have enough room for dessert. We will have to have some tomorrow night.

Tummy Time

The baby was praticing holding his head up while on his stomach. He doesn't always like this exercise as you can see in the picture above. I just couldn't resist taking a picture of him. This onesie is just so cute.

He may also be upset because you can see his bald spot on the back of his head. ha ha.

Blue eyed baby boy

When I was pregnant, Taro and I would talk about what we thought the baby would look like. We tried to guess what color his eyes and hair might be. I thought for sure he would have lots of thick dark hair with brown eyes. I guess the recessive genes are really shining through. The camera doesn't show it very well, but his eyes are a beautiful blue. I'm not sure if they will stay that way, but I am enjoying them now. And oh, look at those long eyelashes. SO CUTE.
