The bird handler at the Farmer's Market told me to get my camera ready.  So I did.  Nate hasn't quite realized what is going on here.

The coolest park ever.  It was the Dennis the Menance playground.  Pirate Ship playground first.

Little Man walking

I've been wanting to post this little video of Nate walking.  He has really taken off in the last couple weeks.  He loves to walk between AJ and I.  If you look closely, you can catch a glimpse of his battle scars from the collision with the coffee table.

This is what Nate looks like 50% of the time. Tongue sticking straight out. It helps him do things ya know? It's no wonder, considering BOTH his parents can be found doing the exact same thing.

Oleander Blooming

I love all the oleander flowers we have around Ripon.  They are so pretty, yet I understand they are poisonous!  There is a beautiful, and ginormous row of oleander just a short walk from our house.  Or as AJ calls it "the road to the Taqueria".  Smart boy, smart boy.  He knows what he likes.

Reckless Driver!

Our little daredevil Nate has learned to drive AJ's electric car all by himself.  He even tries to stand up while driving.  Crazy California driver!

He didn't know what to think about us singing to him.

Taro gave him a fork and he didn't know what to do with it! HA.

Until he almost choke himself with it.

So I stuck his hand right into the cake.

Six layer "white" cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream.  A first time making that frosting.  It was a bit tricky because you start by cooking it first.

Getting the hang of it now.

Ok, just shove it all in now.
