About Me

I am a stay at home mom who loves crafts, scrapbooking, baking, surfing the web, and chasing my kids around. I just realized the house is NEVER going to be clean again. I have an amazing husband who is patient, loving and who cooks and cleans. We've been married for over ten years now. This is our life.

Someone rock me please.

Does this look like a sleepy baby to you? Me either. However, he is insisting on his nightly rocking to sleep time.

Yes, he's ours.

After looking at Taro's baby pictures, we realized there wasn't really a mixup at the hospital afterall. ha ha. Yes, this blue eyed blonde haired baby is really ours. Can you guess who is who below?

Below:
The top left is Taro at one month old and his Grandpa Wilbur Swanson. The top right is Taro and his dad, Mel. The bottom left is Grandpa Mel and little AJ, and the bottom right is Taro and AJ.

The similiarities in the two right hand pictures are unreal. The same eyes, lips, nose. So cute.

Rub a Dub Dub...won't fit in the tub!

Too big to lay in the little hammock... too big to sit propped up against the back, and too big to fit in the deep end where he is supposed to sit up by himself. Not sure he's ready for the big tub yet. He holds on to the sides for dear life. He had fun kicking his legs and splashing me tonight though.

practice makes perfect

We're trying to give the baby more tummy time since the doctor said he needs more practice. He doesn't like it. I got him into this position and he held it for awhile. This pic was taken in between hysterics though.

Four Months!

Little AJ had his four month checkup today. Taro had the day off so we both took him to the doctor. He weighs 16 lbs. 3 oz. now and is 26 1/2 inches. The doctor is pleased with his growth. He had to get his second round of shots today. 3 shots and one oral medicine. As you can imagine he was not happy. But as soon as we got him home and fed and got him some tylenol, he was happier. So I took some pictures.
He has officially found his hands, and they are almost always in his mouth.
